On the evening of April 29th, 2020, my world was absolutely shattered. My beautiful Mom, who was facing Alzheimer's at that time, was killed when a car hit us head on. I honestly do not know how to do this life without her. She was my best friend, my entire world!!!
This year, on October 1, we will be able to participate, in the Alzheimer's Walk Fundraising in person at Sawyer Point for the first time since COVID impacted the walk. It will be incredibly bitter sweet for me as this will be this first time we participate in person without my beautiful Mom.
I know my Mom had ALOT of people who loved her!!! If you can get away for a couple of hours and come down and get away for a couple of hours and come down to show your support, it would mean the world!!!
I will continue to fight to help find the cure for Alzheimer's. This horrible disease stole precious time from this amazing person!
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight!
