I am continuing to wage war on Alzheimer's disease. I lost my mom to Alzheimer's on December 18, 2020. It was a very long and slow goodbye as this disease causes change gradually from personality change, loss of ability to remember to loss of ability to communicate and much more.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
