As many of you know, my mom has dementia (her mother and many others in our family have also suffered from this disease), but I’m hopeful for future generations (including myself) - recent research breakthroughs are providing us with new insights, opening up potential avenues for treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. Scientists and researchers are making strides in understanding the underlying causes of the disease, exploring innovative therapies, and developing interventions that could make a significant impact on the lives of patients and their families (us!). Fingers crossed they find a cure SOON!
