I walk for Bisnonoo Lombardi, Grandpa King, Gramps Drescher, Bob Hutchins and Susie Hutchins. I watched as memories evaporated, independence was stolen and time was robbed from all these wonderful, loving, adored people. The sorrow a family feels going through this is so heartbreaking. We must find a cure!  

The Alzheimer's Assocaite helped us with support and resources for free, as it does so many other families. They also fund research …and this year there are EXCITING breakthroughs that will help many.<3

So this year, I am putting my time and my money where my heart is!  I am even more involved with the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter.  I am now the Event Chair for the Greater Hartford Walk to End Alzheimer's. I am a Suport Group Facilitator and run a monthly group at my company.  I am also working toward being a Community Educator, so you might get me if you regiester for an online, free webinar! 

I walk to raise awareness about the impact this disease has on all of us and to raise funds for research so that one day we will have a cure. 

Caregiving or living with this disease can be isolating. You are not alone!  JOIN ME! The walk is really fun! A great day to get a little excerise but more to be surrounded by others who have also been impacted by this disease.
