I am walking in honor of my mom, Beth McGowin. She has unfortunately been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and early age. The progression is difficult on all of us, but the resources provided by the Alzheimer’s Association are amazing. The support system in the community that we have made friends in have made this journey a little bit easier for us. They have a 24/7 phone support for any reasons, seminars, and so many more educational programs to help all types of caregivers and family members. We are really lucky to be part of this organization. This year my husband Matt has started as a Co-Chair for our county walk.
This year, I am asking for donations to support this cause. Any amount helps, if you can’t please show your support in anyway you can! Share this post participate in your local walk or just be an advocate for this important issue. Thank you all for your help this year.
Alzheimer's isn't stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, I'm raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease - funds that allow the Alzheimer's Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer's and all other dementia need us now more than ever - and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you!
