I have the honor of being a Co-Chair for this years Walk to End Alzheimer's in Washing County, WI. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease, that affects too many people. I am walking in honor of my mother-in-law, Beth McGowin, who was diagnosed with Alzheimers about 4 years ago at the age of 65. The progression is difficult on all of us, but the resources provided by the Alzheimer's Association are amazing. They have 24/7 phone support for any reason, numerous other resources, and education seminars available. In addition, a large portion of donations go toward furthering research to try and cure this disease. Together, we all can make a difference!
This year, I am asking for donations to support this cause. Any amount helps, and if you can't, please show your support in any way you can! Share this post, participate in your local walk, or just be an advocate for this important issue. Thank you to all of you for your help this year!
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you!
