When Alzheimer’s showed up in his life, slowly taking this formal, respected, respectful and kind man to a place of confusion and dependency it was heartbreaking. I am happy that he and my children had the opportunity to meet and I am grateful for the memories.
I walk in his honor. I walk for those who are living the experience of this dread disease. I walk for those who care for them. I walk for those who work tirelessly to find the cure.
Thank you for your caring and support.
