She was a loving, supportive, encouraging and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She would light up a room with her beautiful smile!
When Mary Ann was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 59, our family embarked on a very tearful and painful journey. That's not to say that every day was a bad day. Not so. She had a joy that only God could provide in the midst of such a trial.
But in the end...the memories disappeared, the smiles and joy were gone. This awful and unforgiving disease took everything, including life.
Our future and the future of generations to come are at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease! Currently, more than 7 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 13 million by 2050. We CANNOT let that happen!
Won't you please consider making a donation to help raise critical funds needed for research? Any amount is truly appreciated. Each dollar is one dollar closer to an END TO ALZHEIMER'S.
From our family and the countless others affected by this disease, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
