Alzheimer's Disease is a form of dementia and the most common cause.  Alzheimer's is a disease whereas dementia is a decline in mental ability that interferes with a person's daily life. It is estimated that Alzheimer's Disease is the cause of 60-80% of cases of dementia. The largest risk factor is getting older something we all do.  There is NO cure.  There is NO way to prevent AD.  There is NO way to slow the progression of AD down. 

The hope to defeat this disease lies in the research. Research is expensive and this disease  is something that we will all face as we age. Therefore, I am respectfully requesting that you please consider a donation of any size. We must be proactive and do as much as we can while we can.
