I participated in my first Walk to End Alzheimer's 15 years ago when my father was diagnosed with younger onset Alzheimer's. Since then, I have participated in many walks, advocated in Washington, D.C., and continue to provide support and resources to callers on the 24/7 Helpline.
I have experienced the devastation of Alzheimer's firsthand through my father's Alzheimer's journey. I hear heartbreaking stories from helpline callers on a regular basis. Alzheimer's disease is relentless and life changing. But in the 15 years since my father's diagnosis, there have been exciting advances in research and now is the time to keep fighting for a cure with the hope that one day we will live in a world without Alzheimer's.
By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising efforts. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you for your support!
