Alzheimer's is an incredibly destructive neurodegenerative disease with no cure and it has rocked our family these last several years. Our Dad, Howard, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2020 and he passed this year on April 29, 2025 to this horrible disease after fighting with everything he had these last 5 years.
We are motivated now more than ever to find a cure to honor Howard's legacy and all of the family members who we have also lost to this horrible disease. These past five difficult years have proven to be huge learning (and growing) years for the Taylor family. We have had to adapt, improvise, sacrifice, and empathize with a disease that shows no mercy to its victims nor its victim's caregivers. That is why we invite you to join us in supporting #TEAMTAYLOR in the annual D.C. Walk to End Alzheimer's this September.
This year we are setting our fundraising goal for $50,000 in honor of the 5 years our dad battled this brutal disease and to honor the legacy that he leaves behind.
We are so thankful for your support and hope to see you rocking your purple on Saturday, September 27th!
