After a long battle with EOAD, my mum left her earthly body on Friday, October 4th. She was surrounded by our entire family. We are grieving her loss but also celebrating her life.
- Early-onset Alzheimer's disease, also called younger-onset Alzheimer's, is a rare form of Alzheimer's that affects people under the age of 65. It's diagnosed in only 5-10% of Alzheimer's cases.
Along with friends & family, I’m raising awareness & funds to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care & support while accelerating critical research. Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping & neither are we.
We are participating in the Alzheimer’s Association 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Tri-County (Marion, Mon & Preston), on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
Families facing Alzheimer’s & all other dementia need us — & with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant & start your own fundraising efforts. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
