The morning of April 8, 2024 we lost my father to Alzheimer's. I've been walking and volunteering in his honor the past few years. Sadly, this year I will be walking in his memory.
I want to raise funds to make more families aware of the resources available. There is NOTHING that prepares you for watching a loved one battle this disease. However, the Alzheimer's Association has resources for researching care facilities, information and support for caregivers and most importantly research to END this disease! The Alzheimer's association is also fighting for regulations regarding facilities labeled as "Memory Care".
