Alzheimer’s has affected millions of people, not just those suffering from the disease, but also their families. It causes families to lose the grandparent, parent, sibling, or child they once had. I am fundraising for Alzheimer’s research with the hope that one day we will be able to find a cure, so no one ever has to suffer ever again of Alzheimer’s.
I am also fundraising in honor of my Grandpa Howie. He loved his family so greatly until the day he died. He was passionate about biology and music, which are some of my greatest passions as well. He was a bright light to all who met him, even when he was fighting this disease.
