Walk is the largest event to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and other related dementias and over 11 million family and friends provide their unpaid care. 

Our family was honored to be able to provide this type of care for our husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in October of 2014 at the age of 70, Mike fought valiantly to battle the disease by doing wooden puzzles and being an active member of Giving Hearts Choir with his family and many caregivers by his side. He passed December 21, 2023 knowing he was loved and his story was shared with many.
