It's that time of year again. The Alzheimer's walk will be held in September and my family is participating. This is a cause close to my heart.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
My brother Paul has been diagnosed with Lewy Body Disease, which affects his memory and causes physical problems. I also have an uncle with Alzheimer's. Our family wants to continue to raise as much money as possible to enable research to find some cures. We need and appreciate your help!
Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's and Lewy Body. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
