The week Randy turned 55 and Shelly graduated from high school, we received the Alzheimer's diagnosis. I know, I've told the story before. But it reiterates how quickly life can change, whether through Alzheimer's Disease or other tragic circumstances. Life carries no guarantees. 2024 will be the 14th year for Bjorkolution (and also need to give a shoutout to the Brainiacs as the team was named for several years) for our longevity and commitment to make a difference. And we ARE making a difference. 
A huge Milestone was reached by the Bjorkolution team in 2023! Our team brought in over $100,000 accumulated donations since our inception in 2011! I don't know about you, but I never envisioned setting such a goal, much less achieving it! 
We are individuals (friends, family, acquaintances, strangers even) that choose to  tell Alzheimer's Disease to go to Hell!  Each team member, whether you walked donated or both, can  smile proudly and pat yourself on your back with this accomplishment. A friend told me "and we're not stopping now!" 
I do pray that Bjorkolution continues for many years to come. If you haven't been touched by this disease or another form of dementia, I can pretty much guarantee that at some point in your life you will be. By supporting research you can be assured that you have helped make a difference in new treatments, a cure and prevention of these mind robbing diseases. God bless you.
