My mom spent several years with Alzheimer’s...and her mother spent many more. My grandmother eventually died from Alzheimer’s and my mom actually passed away from an aortic aneurysm 10 years ago. While I feel she was taken too early, a part of me feels blessed that she didn’t need to spend her last years suffering in a nursing home as my grandmother did.  I pray a cure is found soon for this terrible disease and will proudly be walking in their memory on Sep 16, 2023 and I welcome anyone who would like to join me and Team Rolande!
