Daddy lost his battle to this awful disease in July of 2023.
I will continue to fight for a cure.
My mom, now 68, was diagnosed in 2012. She has early onset(Posterior Cortical Atrophy.) This is the 12th year I'll be walking. This disease has affected 4 immediate family members of mine. (Grandpa, Aunt, Mom & Dad).
I've seem first hand how it affects millions of families. This disease is devastating- I will do everything I can to raise money to help researchers find a cure.
I'm looking forward to gathering with our entire community to help find a cure.
There are many ways to help support this cause: walk with us or donate to help finance research to find a cure!
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining the movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts with you.
