I am walking in memorie of my family members and friends I have lost to Alzheimers and other dementia , my Mom, Doris ireland-Hatt, my aunt Catherine Ireland-Larrabee, my cousine Elsie Marie Hatt-Baker and friendsive lost and those living with the disease. My ex-husband Evgeni (Gene) Krivenko and his mother, Anna Krivenko-Nazaroff also had Alzheimer's.
I am also walking for friends who have lost loved ones. And for friends who are now living with Alzheimer's including my for classmate and friend Art Pena, former football and wrestling coach at Adolfo Camarillo High School.
Mother lost her battle with Alzheimer's on 2/02/2000. She was a very special lady. In my opinion, Mom made a wonderful home for my brother, Richard, our dad Bernie, and me. She was a true mother of the 1950's. I miss her and think of her often.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care,
education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Help us to finally see our first Alzheimer's surviver.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
