We are leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.  

We are doing this in honor of all of us here at Kendal; of Andy Harvard, who led two expeditions Jed was on: Minya Konka in China - 1980 and Mount Everest - North Ridge 1986; and of Nat Goodhue, a cousin of Perry's and who was on the x-c ski team with Jed at U. of Alaska (Fairbanks) in the 60s.
