While Andy, like so many others, did not win his battle with Alzheimer's, his leadership and determination that we would one day reach a time where prevention, treatment and cure become a reality... never wavered. This is Team Andy’s eighth year as part of the Upper Valley Walk to End Alzheimer's and I join family, friends, and others in honoring my husband, Andy, and countless others we have lost to this cruel disease. I hope you will help me.
Today, there are more than 6 million families throughout the US who are struggling with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia, and that number is growing. Nearly all of us have family members or friends who have been touched by this cruel disease and understand how difficult this journey is. The good news is that ground breaking science is beginning to unlock the doors to diagnosis, prevention and potential treatments, but there is still a lot of hard work to be done.
Please join me and Team Andy in the Upper Valley Walk to End Alzheimer's to get this done. Together, we can make a difference by raising awareness about Alzheimer's disease and raising critical funds to accelerate research and education and support programs for persons with dementia and their families. These families… our families… need every one of us to join in the fight to end Alzheimer’s.
I hope you will walk with us on Saturday, October 5 if you are able and invite you to support me and Team Andy in reaching our funding raising goals that will make such a difference.
Thank you to each of you for your encouragement through out these many years and thank you for support. Andy would be proud of us all.

Go Team Andy!
