For the 16th straight year, I am participating in the Alzheimer's Association "Walk to End Alzheimer's" to help reclaim the future for millions and I am still committed to trying to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's and other dementia-related diseases with the ever-present hope of witnessing the first Alzheimer's survivor.
Last year, a new drug, Aduhelm, was approved in a controversial decision about the efficacy of the drug given that it was most effective for those in the early stages of Alzheimer's. This year, another drug, Lequembi, has recently received final FDA approval. This drug has shown particular promise for Alzheimer's patients. These are important steps in the continuing efforts being made by the research community to find a cure for Alzheimer's and other dementia-related diseases.
Once again, I am asking for your support. Please make a tax-deductible donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's and other dementia-related illnesses.
Thank you in advance for joining our movement! I continue to harbor great confidence that I will witness the first Alzheimer's survivor and as always, the end of Alzheimer's disease depends on ME and YOU!
