By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Lynn and I hope to raise awareness to advance the fight against this disease. As many of you know, Lynn was diagnosed with Alzheimer's some years ago, so this is a very meaningful cause for us and the walk is a supportive event for both of us.
We invite you to join us on October 26th to walk to end Alzheimer's. If you can join us, please register as a participant on our team. If you are so inclined, the Alzheimer's Association would appreciate donations as well, and you can donate by making a donation to our team, but that is totally up to you. We will match the first $1,000 of grants and we will also donate an amount for each William and Mary student who joins our team on the walk. We currently anticipate that the William and Mary men's and women's tennis teams will join us, and perhaps others as well. We would be thrilled to have you join us on the 26th with or without donation, or make a donation if you can't be there on the 26th, or just plain join us in spirit on the 26th. Lynn and I will certainly appreciate your support as we struggle with this disease together.
