Seven years ago my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It is slowly taking her from us. It has been a sad and painful descent with many rainbows along the way. We thank God for her smiles, laughter, and the recognition of love on her face when she looks at us.
By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, I'm raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this horrific disease.
