Here I am again asking for your help as I gear up to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's - Charlottesville on October 5, 2024. As most of you know my father succumbed to this dreadful disease seven years ago so it's a cause that is very near and dear to me. There are myriad reasons to give to this cause and while they all are important, there are a few I find crucial. Your donation can help fund research - scientists have developed immunotherapy drugs that help slow down the spread of the disease to the brain. Your donation can help fund online education programs that will help make a difference to those who find themselves in a caregiver position. And most importantly, your donation can support the Alzheimer's Society who work effortlessly at making sure that life doesn't end just because dementia begins. But all of this takes money. So please help me make a difference first by opening your heart and then your wallet. The onl;y amount that is too small is NO amount. Thank you in advance.
