I'm walking in honor of my Grandpa Richardson, as well as my mother-in-law, Diane, that was recently diagnosed. During my college years in Ohio, I was grateful to get the chance to spend more time with my grandpa while he was living with this heartbreaking disease. My dad and family made selfless sacrifices to give him the best care and quality of life as possible. Recently, my husband, Doug, has taken on the role of caretaker for his mother who lives near. It has been challenging to see how Alzheimer's can affect those we love. My hope is that one day, there will be no more Alzheimer's and no more families affected by this disease. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease. Thank you!
