My husband, Kenny, was diagnosed with Stage 5 early onset Alzheimer’s in June of 2020 at the young age of 69. He was a brilliant man with a heart of gold, and he was loved by all who knew him. In September of 2021, I had to do one of the hardest thing I’ve ever done - place him in a memory care facility. It became unsafe for him to remain at home. He passed away from this cruel disease in December of 2022, and then I had to do the hardest thing ever … learn to live completely without the love of my life.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your team.
