I lost my Gran to Alzheimer's in June of 2022. My gran was diagnosed before I was born and although I got to see her and be near her it was not the same as having the person people once knew. This is why I participate in this walk. I'm hoping for a cure one day, so fewer people and families will be affected by this disease. I have participated in this walk since I could walk and will continue to do so in honor of my Gran and for those affected by this awful disease. This will be my 4th year to participate. I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating please help me by donating or joining my team.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
