I am walking in Memory of my Momo and Popo who passed away after years of deteriorating from Alzheimer's and Dementia. The devastation that this disease caused in my family, I would not want anyone to have to deal with, that is why I walk so someday we will have a cure!
Every 65 seconds someone in the United States develops this disease that still has no known prevention or cure – making it one of the costliest diseases, with a lifetime cost of care over $350,000.
Alzheimer’s is one of the most expensive diseases in America, costing an estimated $305 billion a year.
