Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
My great Grandmother Snooks passed away from the disease when I was little. My great uncle Dub struggled with it for many years before he passed.
Now my Gramps has been diagnosed with it.
My Aunt Jen and Dad have been there 24/7 to help him.
I will walk this day with the prayer in my heart we can find a cure to this heart breaking disease. I don’t want to watch any more of my loved ones, or myself (it’s hereditary) slip away into the grasp of Alzheimer’s.
