Finding a cure to Alzheimer's is important to me, personally. Over 25 years ago, it became my #1 fear, not because I was a caretaker to someone suffering or anyone in my family had the disease, but because I was deathly afraid of losing my memories. As I grew older and learned more about the disease, my fear turned into a passion to help find a cure.
Alzheimer's is a devastating disease that affects millions of individuals and families worldwide. It not only strips away memories and cognitive abilities, but it also takes away one's independence and identity. Watching a loved one struggle with this disease is heartbreaking, which is why we are passionate about raising funds for research towards finding a cure.
Last year, as captain of the Forget Me Not Photos team, we were able to raise over $750 towards this cause thanks to the generosity of our friends, family, and community members. This year, I have set an even higher goal of $1,500. Every penny counts in the fight against Alzheimer's.
Join us as we walk to raise awareness, honor those battling the disease, and support research efforts. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by Alzheimer's. Thank you for your support and let's continue to fight for a cure!
