Her house was more than just a home; it was a place of sanctuary and love. Known as the "sugar house", by all who visited, it was a place where children flocked for delicious treats. Her kitchen was a hub of activity. 

But it wasn't just Grandma Susan's culinary talents that made her home so special. She had a green thumb and a passion for gardening, spending countless hours tending to her vibrant garden. Surrounded by blooming flowers and lush greenery, Grandma Susan found solace and joy amidst nature's beauty. 

However, Grandma Susan's life took a heartbreaking turn when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2006. Despite the challenges she faced, her spirit remained resilient, and her love continued to shine brightly. Even as her memory began to fade, Grandma Susan's kindness and warmth never wavered. 

In 2007, Grandma Susan left this world, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. To honor her memory and support those affected by Alzheimer's, Lilly's Home Care is organizing a fundraiser. We invite you to join us in this important cause by participating in a walk or making a donation.
