This team was created to support the research and development of a cure for Alzheimer's. Many Americans suffer with this disease with no cure in sight. It is a devastating disease that not only effects the patient but also the ones that care for them. 

My heart was led years ago to become an advocate for Alzheimer's awareness when I worked in a facility with Alzheimer's residents. Then to find out that my grandmother, and great aunt and many others in our family had been stricken with this disease tugged at my heart to try to become a part of something that would lead to others not having to deal with this heart wrenching disease. I joined this fight for the mothers, fathers, uncles, aunts. friends, and caregivers across the nation.
