Kimberly "Kimmie" McDavid
It's with a shattered heart we share the news that our matriarch, Kimberly "Kimmie" McDavid, met God on March 7, 2024, at the age of 60 after battling early-onset Alzheimer's for almost 8 years. In those 8 years, "Kim's Krewe" raised $250,000 to put an end to this disease.
Kim is survived by her beloved, David McDavid Jr.; son Mason McDavid (Danielle Kar); daughter Mulvey McDavid; mother Joan Palmisano; sister Angela Bird; brother John Palmisano and her best furry friend "Cupid."
Although our Kimmie wasn't the first survivor of this insidious disease, her mission to find the first survivor will continue. It is our intention to continue to honor Kimmie every fall with Kim's Krewe in conjunction with the Dallas Walk to End ALZ.
