The Westerman family created this site initially in lieu of flowers, but also to keep her memory and legacy alive year after year until Alzheimer’s is a distant memory.

Bennie Jo Westerman was the wife of the late Emil Leo Westerman, the beloved mother to 12 children, the grandmother to 34 grandchildren, and the great-grandmother to 20+ great-grandchildren.  She lived a full and exuberant 93 years of life before Alzheimer's sent her to her eternal home to be with Christ her Savior.  Bennie Jo was a strong Catholic woman who was a faithful servant and had a heart of gold.  She was genuine, giving, loyal, energetic, ornery, and loved her family with all that she had.  She was a true friend that would give her last dime to anyone in need.  Many years she navigated Alzheimer's graciously as she cared for her husband who battled it.  

It is only fitting that a tribute be set up in her memory where contributions will raise awareness, provide support, promote research, and end the disease.
