Smith Clinesmith is honored to be a part of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s 2024. This annual event represents more than just a walk—it is a collective commitment to raising awareness, funding critical research, and supporting those affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
This year, our team is walking to honor a close family friend of our Managing Partner's who passed due to the disease, Ron Morrow. Retired Air Force Colonel, Ron Morrow, was diagnosed with memory loss due to dementia in 2019 and later officially diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2022. Born in 1942 in Terrell, Texas, he was a cherished husband, brother, dad, grandad, fighter pilot, teacher of life, cheerleader and friend to all. Everyone who knew him remembers his quick wit, amazing laugh and willingness to help whenever and wherever help was needed even as the disease progressed. His voice resonating in swim centers across Texas as he cheered for his grandchildren is a sound many know and will not soon forget. He fought a courageous battle against this disease, able to display his love for his wife until the end. He passed away in November 2023.
We also walk to honor our clients, our families, and our friends. We walk in honor of the memory of those we’ve lost to Alzheimer’s, to support individuals currently battling the disease, and to advocate for a future where Alzheimer’s no longer impacts lives.
Join us on walk day. Our team will be there ready to come together and make a meaningful impact by supporting our community. We're happy to walk alongside you and thousands of others who share our dedication to ending Alzheimer’s. We look forward to seeing you at the walk and joining forces to drive change and offer hope to those affected by this disease.
