My mom died on June 23, 2020. She is now cured from the cruel disease that she fought for more than 6 years. She was surrounded by those who loved her most...her dear husband of 49 years and the joys of her life-her 3 children. I held her hand as she took her final breaths. I am broken into a million pieces. A part of me is now gone.
Although I am wrecked with grief, I am praising God for the gift of Jesus and the promise of eternal life. I am counted so blessed to have been gifted with such an incredible mother and friend...40 years with her was not enough. She was simply the best.
Her battle with Alzheimer’s has been won. Jesus, yours is the victory.
