Hi!

Most of y'all know my mom Sylvia was diagnosed with early on-set Alzheimer's September 6, 2013. It's been a roller coaster ride & we never imagined this would happen to my mom as young as she is. She turned 61 this year & doesn't deserve this diagnosis one bit. We believe Gods plan is so much better than our own & we are thanking Him every day for understanding such a tough truth.

Our team name is "Giggles Memory Walkers" if you would like to join us. I know it would mean SO much to my mom seeing people support her. Our team goal is to raise $7,000 (of course let's go above that). The walk doesn't require a registration fee it's all fundraising. You have to raise $100 to receive the awesome t-shirt. I would love to encourage everyone to either sign up for our team & start searching for everything PURPLE or if you can't be there please donate any amount you can! This is our 9th year to be a part of the walk. Y'all continue to amaze me with all the support! My prayer is that mom is a top fundraiser & our team is in the top 3! Research is SO important! No one else needs to experience their mom forgetting their name at 25! 

This disease has changed my family's life & I can't think of a better way to celebrate being on this Alzheimer's journey than starting a team that honors & supports my beautiful mom!
