Welcome to our team page for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®! This is the largest annual event to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®, occurring in more than 600 communities nationwide. 

We walk to honor those who have been lost to this disease and the more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million family and friends who provide unpaid care. This includes over 50,000 South Dakota residents either living with this disease or providing unpaid care for someone. The estimated cost of this disease in South Dakota alone is around $709 MILLION, and this fundraiser seeks to alleviate the burden of the disease on people affected.
