Walking for Mom was started in 2012 after my mom, Peg, started showing symptoms of early onset Alzheimer's and had to retire from her life long love of nursing. Peg lost her battle with Alzheimer’s on Sept 21, 2020. We take comfort in knowing she is safe is Jesus arms with her body and mind again. Our family has pledged to make an impact in trying to assist in finding a cure for this ugly disease.  Please join the "Walking for MOM" team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer's disease. Together, we can advance research to treat and prevent Alzheimer's, and provide programs and support to improve the lives of millions of affected Americans.
