My Nani lit up a room like no one else. Watching her slowly fade away is one of the hardest experiences I've ever been through. I participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's so that families like mine, who face this terrible disease every day, know they are not alone. Together with my sisters in Sigma Kappa, I am raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide care and support for patients and for families while accelerating critical research.
