Hello, friends and family,
Thank you for checking out my Walk to End Alzheimer's page and for considering donating to support crucial research going on right now that aims to end Alzheimer's and other dementia.
After about 5 years with frontotemporal dementia, Dad went home to be with the Lord in August 2022. My Memaw, my Nannie and my Great-Aunt Jane all also suffered from memory-related illness. That is why I walk and why I donate each year to the Alzheimer's Association. I dream of seeing a cure, so that no one else ever has to experience losing their memory, their personality, their ability to enjoy a beautiful life. Especially now as Brad and I are navigating the joys of parenting sweet Cora Jane, we don't want her to live in a world infected by dementia.
I'd love for you to join me on October 5 as we Walk to End Alzheimer's in downtown Greenville. I'd also greatly appreciate your financial support. I firmly believe every dollar donated inches us closer to a world without memory-related illness. We are now in the "treatment era," as multiple drugs that are slowing down the progression of Alzheimer's are on the market.
Thanks to all of you who continually lift our family up in prayers. We are truly grateful for our family and friends who have supported us through this journey.
Love,
Jenni
