Before my mom got Alzheimer’s I didn’t realize how bad it was.  Little by little the one you love forgets everyone that she loves and the people that love her.  It is heartbreaking when you say Hi Mom and you hope you get a reaction, even for a split second. And you get nothing at all.

Alzheimer’s disease is relentless.  My mom is no longer battling it since she passed away on December 17, 2020.  But every year I will walk in her memory, raise money and hope to see someone survive Alzheimer’s,
