I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. I lost my dad in December 2018 after 10 years with Alzheimer's. There are many sad things about this disease but for me it was losing him when he was alive but didn't know anyone and the day he died. I am also walking for a dear friend who is speaking out about Alzheimer's as much as he can. He has always given to his community and he will continue to speak and educate while he still has a voice.
