As some of you may know, my mother Sylvia was diagnosed with Advanced Dementia in January 2022. The decline was so quick she went from driving in December and making Christmas dinner to some days not knowing who I was a month later. A few days before my mother died in April 2023, she didn't remember her family. She knew she had two daughters but didn't realize we were sitting next to her. This is a horrible disease that broke our hearts each day.
