My Mom finally ended her battle with Alzheimer’s January of 2018. She drifted off peacefully on a snowy January evening and she is no longer trapped in a body that wouldn’t let her respond like she wanted to. Not a day goes by that I don't miss her. I hope that I am making her proud up there with my Dad and my brother and many other loved ones.

My Mom and I's journey through Alzheimer's was long and sometimes difficult. No one can prepare you emotionally for the toll this disease will take on you. Thankfully there are many wonderful people out there who will help you through the details of life when caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's. We were blessed to find many of them. Our journey spanned two counties, four facilites and many social service agencies. Please help me make other peoples journey easier than mine. Remember, the end of Alzheimers starts with you....
