Since 2017, Visiting Angels has presented SING FOR A CURE, a Lip Sync Competition, as our major fundraiser for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.  The last 3 years have been different, but we’ve still had a version of this fundraiser to support this important cause.

Visiting Angels works in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association to help build awareness of the needs surrounding this disease which affects 1 in 3 older adults.  Creating this event and watching it grow since 2017 has been incredible.  Having the community involved from the beginning was vital. We reached out to local and regional businesses to partner with us and the response for sponsorships was overwhelming.  We are very honored to have these incredible partners and sponsors as part of this growing event.

Just like 2021, we changed the event so we could still host it but do it safely.  FOOD & MUSIC FOR A CURE is an event featuring food trucks and local bands.  This year will be the same.  Great music from local artists, delicious treats from food trucks, raffle baskets and so much more.  And it’s all for a great cause – to raise money for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.  Will you join us in making 2022 another record year for donations to this great cause?
