We walk to honor our mother, grandmother, and loved one, Gloria Borkowski. Gloria died January 2, 2020, in Washington, with family by her side. There was nothing she loved more than her children and grandchildren/great grandchildren. 

Her loved ones hated to see her struggle with this terrible disease. It stole away the Nunny they knew and in its place it left a stranger. Still, they clung to one thought: she will recognize our love. And so they loved her. On good days and on bad. When she knew them and when she didn't. They loved and they loved, and they focused on their Nunny until she passed. And after that, still they loved.

They formed Team Nunny to honor her: to raise awareness, and funds, and to someday find a cure. So that someday, some daughter, some grandchild, will look at their mother, father, loved one, and know there will be no sad goodbye. Just a cure.
