Alzheimer's and dementia diagnosis are increasing in our country at an alarming rate, and it should be a wake-up call for all of us. Awareness, early diagnosis and prevention can change the trajectory of this disease. Dollars dedicated to Alzheimer's and dementia research are a mere fraction of other diseases, and we can do better! Last year one of the most promising drugs to date to slow the progression of the disease was approved by the FDA and covered by Medicare, finally giving access to patients and families. We are making an impact, but we must do more. Help us raise funds to keep the momentum going!
